If There is Hell Below (est. 2010) is a weekly new music podcast presented by two best pals Rob Morgan and Callum Eckersley. Each week they bring in 12 new tracks, have a few beers, chat about their favourite finds of the week and joke about life.
'On the Ark with…' is a brand new podcast from the boys who gave you the If There Is Hell Below.
In each episode Rob and Callum invite one of their favourite artists onto their mythical ark; a huge vessel prepped for the end of the world and with your hosts as Co-Captains they welcome their new ship mates.
Over drinks they ask the people who make the music what songs and albums have made them the musician, artist and person they are.
"If you’ve ever wondered where our bleeding-edge pop writers hear about new music, well obviously it’s from industry PRs proffering free drugs. But this podcast, which has reached an impressive 200 episodes, is as good a place as any to look, taking in everything from woozy hip-hop to scuzzy lo-fi indie."
"Callum and Rob are your hosts as they banter away to their heart’s content, largely to their own enjoyment, although I’d be lying if I didn’t say at times, ours too... In betwixt the banter they play some of the best contemporary music from alt-rock / garage rock and hip hop genres to name but three."
Louder Than War
"This excellent new music podcast is now over 80 episodes old. The self-deprecating badinage of your hosts Callum and Rob ("I could say that's a mash-up but that would make me a twat") is reminiscent of Adam & Joe, were the Black Squadron allowed to drop Jaekim's re-edits of the Monks and the Stepkids, or Lilacs & Champagne's imagined Italian sleazecore soundtracks, all while good-naturedly poking fun at 6Music, NME and … well the whole record industry."
