If There is Hell Below (est. 2010) is a weekly new music podcast presented by two best pals Rob Morgan and Callum Eckersley. Each week they bring in 12 new tracks, have a few beers, chat about their favourite finds of the week and joke about life.
Rob and Callum former forum-dwellers and dreamers of post-American Pie blockbusters present another hour-plus of new music and nonsense wittering. Callum is full on punk immediacy today with the new wave calls of Color TV to the straight-up blast of noise from Shitty Life, there's some sneering Oz drawl from Rex Wonderful & the Silk Sheets and Seagulls. Rob's a little more on the Grateful Dead vibe with One Eleven Heavy, the funk instros of The White Blinds, the noir-folk-jazz of Annabel (lee) and the Trinidadian-meets-poetry jam on Anthony Joseph. There's plenty more besides. Excuse the opening crackles in sound and imagine it's a record you ain't got round to cleaning.
