If There is Hell Below (est. 2010) is a weekly new music podcast presented by two best pals Rob Morgan and Callum Eckersley. Each week they bring in 12 new tracks, have a few beers, chat about their favourite finds of the week and joke about life.
Rob and Callum recorded this on a Sunday, very much in a lethargic, laid back dad sunday mode, binging on coffee and dark chocolate. Mumblnig at the TV to entertain themselves; it's just that on this pod the mumbling is to each other and at YOU. Couple of decent lengthy jazz tracks this week from Laurence Peak and The Breathing Effect, both touching on the more krautrock and electronic psychedelic European leanings of jazz. There's some punk firepower from Civic, indie pop from Airwaves, some replacements'esque stuff from Advertisement and some afro-funk from Kologbo. Take a listen and enjoy
